How to Install Brother TN436 Toner Cartridges
- Open the front cover of your Brother color laser printer
- Pull the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly straight out for the color being replaced
- Press the release lever and slide the old toner cartridge out of the drum unit
- Remove the new cartridge from packaging and shake it gently 5–6 times side to side to evenly distribute the toner
- Remove the protective cap completely
- Slide the new cartridge firmly into the drum unit until it clicks
- Reinsert the drum and toner assembly back into the printer
- Close the front cover and repeat for each color as needed
If print density appears light: Remove the cartridge, gently rock it side to side to redistribute toner, then reinstall and test again.
Do not touch the drum roller. Fingerprints can cause permanent print defects.

What is the difference between TN433 and TN436
