Installation instructions

Follow these steps to install your myCartridge TN227 / TN223 compatible toner cartridges:

1. Prepare the toner: Gently shake the toner cartridge horizontally 5–6 times to help distribute the toner evenly inside.
2. Remove protective parts: Take off any protective cover or sealing tape from the toner cartridge.
3. Install into the drum: Insert the toner cartridge firmly into the DR223 / DR-223 drum unit until it clicks into place.
   Note: The DR223 drum unit is not included and must be reused or purchased separately.
4. Insert into the printer: Place the drum unit with the new toner back into your Brother printer and close the front cover.
5. Print a test page: Run a test print to make sure the cartridge is installed correctly and print quality meets your needs.
