Important Usage Tips

• When installing compatible TN229 / TN229XL toner for the first time, your printer screen may display a “Non Brother Toner” message. Please select “Yes” to continue printing normally. If you accidentally select “No”, restart the printer and choose “Yes” when prompted.
• If the printer shows “Replace Toner” after installing a new TN229 / TN229XL / TN229/XL/V cartridge, remove the cartridge, gently shake it horizontally, reinstall it firmly, or replace it with another TN229-series cartridge until the message clears.
